Carlena Hart is a resourceful and consummate professional with seven years of experience in community school startup, governance, school compliance, and school policy development.
Carlena’s unique and wide-ranging skill set has enabled her to successfully contribute in a variety of roles, including board relations, governance and compliance, and paralegal.
Her passion for charter school law has earned her recognition as a “go to” resource within the charter school community. Among Carlena’s many qualifications are 10 years’ experience as a corporate paralegal at corporations ranging from small companies to Fortune 100 firms.
Carlena earned a Bachelor’s degree in sociology along with certificates in paralegal studies and gerontology at The University of Akron.
Giving back to the community has always been an important part of Carlena’s life. She has volunteered as Court Appointed Special Advocate/Guardian Ad Litem for many years. Carlena also devotes time to volunteer in her daughter and nieces and nephews school activities.
